How does it work?

The post office opens daily from 9 – 5pm providing a festival adaptation of the authentic village post office. It is a small red shed with benches and tables for visitors to draw postcards, write letters, look for lost mail and catch up on gossip with the posties.

Every item of mail is marked with a stamp and an ‘improvised’ address that helps the posties locate the recipient - this could be a description of what they are wearing, a map to where they are camped, or a time that they will be seeing a certain band.
Posties then set off to deliver the mail, talking to passers by on their way and creating a jolly familiar vibe with the people within the festival.
